Investment manager James Foster writes for Global Arbitration Review on the practicalities of an innovative new protocol being devised by Twenty Essex’s Angharad Parry and Gordon Nardell QC that would see court trials delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic converted to arbitration.

James Foster comments: “All in all, the proposed protocol is an excellent opportunity for arbitration once again to showcase its inherent flexibility and its ability to serve the needs of the parties. Those attributes are more important than ever in the current circumstances so that disputes can continue to be resolved swiftly and effectively to the benefit of the parties and of the commercial world in general.”
